Honor Flight North Central West Virginia is a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to honoring Veterans from WWII through Vietnam.

OUR MISSION: We celebrate and honor their service and sacrifice with a trip to Washington D.C. to be honored at the memorials built in their honor.

World War II (12/7/41 - 12/31/46)

Post WWII (1/1/47 - 6/26/50)

Korea (6/27/50 - 1/31/55)

How To Sign Up or Volunteer

Veteran Information

Honorably Discharged Veterans that enlisted prior to 5/7/1975 are eligible to sign up for their Honor Flight.

Guardian Information

Guardians can be a family member or friend - a generation younger than the Veteran. There are physical requirements to be a guardian.

Honor Flight North Central West Virginia

We are a newly formed "hub" in a network of over 128 hubs around the country. Annually the Honor Flight Network will celebrate and honor over 22,000 Veterans nationally each year. As of 2025, over 350,000 Veterans have been taken to Washington D.C. to be honored at their memorials.

Our Trip Schedule

Our FIRST Honor Flight (Bus Trip) will be:

Their Welcome Home

Our welcome home will be public style parade in Downtown Clarksburg. You can come out and line West Pike St. from the 200 W. Pike Street to the Clarksburg VFW. We recommend you and your family and friends be in place no later than TBD.

A Few Quick Facts about applying
or being a guardian for a Veteran.

Any Veteran, Honorably Discharged that enlisted prior to May 7, 1975.  Stateside or Overseas, wartime or peacetime are all eligible.  Active Duty, Reserves, Guard - all eligible.  You may not have previously traveled on an Honor Flight with any other hub in our organization.

Any adult over the age of 18 that is a generation younger than the Veteran, not a spouse or significant other and can perform all the physical tasks required of a guardian.  There will be a required donation by the guardian to cover a portion of your participation in the trip.

100% Yes.  You are not required to have served overseas to be eligible for an Honor Flight.

100% Yes.  You are not required to have been in combat to be eligible for an Honor Flight.  Many Veterans served stateside both in peacetime and wartime and EVERYONE's efforts are to be acknowledged.

All our Honor Flight trips are 100% funded through donations by the public, either personally or corporately.  We receive no government funding.  You can use our donate link to may a charitable donation.  We are a recognized 501(c)(3) with the State of West Virginia.
